Deep Chocolate Passion Saucy Spread

Sometimes, something warm and fudgey is all that will do. At least that’s what we thought one night when we were making a batch of truffles… how do we capture just the truffle filling, that gorgeous ganache?  All that gooey, dripping deliciousness…. On ice cream, On my apple, On a spoon!  As we looked over at the pot on the stove tempering…. SAUCE!  (Think of it as a chocolatier’s version of crying “Eureka”!) And our Deep Chocolate Passion Saucy Spread was born.  Perfect as a sauce, it oozes beautiful ribbons when hot, or chill it and spread it on cinnamon toast, banana bread or whip up a PBC (Peanut Butter & Choc) Sandwich, but WAIT, as they say, there’s more … OR warm it up again and presto Choco – Fondue!  If we say so ourselves, it is a little dip of heaven.
