Truffles and the Women Who Inspire Them

In 2005, a simple yet delicious idea took form in a Colorado kitchen. To handcraft superior truffles – truffles that would embrace the same delicious and exceptional qualities as women do. The result would be Wild Women Truffles – a chocolate indulgence for all the senses. We the founding “Wild Women,” Kathie Delano and Debbie Draudt, have drawn our inspiration from iconic women.

Whether they made their marks in history- Hilary Rodham Clinton, Gloria Steinem, Eleanor Roosevelt, Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart, or blazed new and unconventional trails in the entertainment field – Oprah Winfrey, Marilyn Monroe, Bette Midler, Whoopi Goldberg, Tina Turner, Lucille Ball, (who can forget the candy factory scene?), or echo in our lives through mythology and art, such as Aphrodite, Pele, and Venus, women past & present continue to inspire us.
